Description

On the Golgo plateau, there are small pools bordered by basalt rock formations (in Sardinian: As Piscinas). Today they are small picturesque ponds fed by rainwater, while in the past they seem to have represented the only local water reserve, both for watering animals and as a resource for human settlements in the Nuragic era. According to some researchers, the area may have been the site of magic rituals related to the cult of water.

Luogo molto particolare, purtroppo vista la siccità, il livello dell'acqua nei laghetti è molto basso, ma, se ci si avvicina in silenzio, si possono vedere le tartarughine d'acqua che prendono il sole sulle pietre ai bordi!
