Description

Originally a single-tower nuraghe and later of the 'a tancato' type, Is Paras is one of the most important and distinctive nuraghi in Sardinia. The central tower, made of white limestone blocks, is partially enclosed by a three-lobed bastion. Inside, preceded by a corridor, is the main chamber with a tholos vault; at 11.8 m, it is the most imposing on the island. Later phases include, together with the bastion, the second tower, the courtyard, the two side towers and the outer wall.

Opening days and times: from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:30 - 12:30; 15:30 - 17:00.

Ticket prices: 3€, reduced 2€ (children, teenagers, seniors and groups of at least 15 people). Combined ticket for museum + Nuraghe Is Paras: 6€, reduced 4,50€. NB: Ticket price includes a guided tour.
