Description

Costa Rei is a beautiful stretch of the southeastern coast of Sardinia which, with an extension of about 8 km, offers a succession of virtually unspoiled beaches and coves. White sand dunes give way to rocks that frame the clear blue sea, creating natural pools. On the border between the municipalities of Castiadas and Muravera, for example, we find the well-known Scoglio di Peppino, made of light-colored granite and shaped like a turtle. In 2009, Costa Rei was included among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world by the prestigious travel guide publisher “Lonely Planet”.
