Nuraghe Nastasi

Nuraghe Nastasi, also known as Anastasi, is one of the most important nuragic complexes in the territory of Tertenia. The preserved structures make it possible to recognize an articulated layout, with a keep, four secondary towers, two courtyards, separate entrances and sections of staircase that led to the upper parts. Reading the masonry reveals several construction phases, carried out largely with local rocks, including porphyry and granite, with basalt blocks inserted in the outer part. The excavation campaigns of 1966 and 1981 yielded important materials, including bronze artefacts and fragments of painted Mycenaean pottery, elements that suggest contacts and the circulation of goods within a broader protohistoric framework. The monument is not in perfect condition, and vegetation long affected the legibility of the structures, but precisely this condition invites careful observation: as a complex, stratified architecture inserted in the landscape of coastal Ogliastra.
